1. Required storage
Required storage supports authentication, account security, abuse prevention, and the cookie choice itself. It is active without optional advertising consent because the requested account and security functions cannot operate reliably without it.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
ib1_device | Recognises a device for session security, rate limiting, and duplicate-account prevention. | 365 days |
ib1_token | Authenticates a signed-in account. | 2 hours, or 30 days when “remember me” is selected |
ib1_etag | Supports browser recognition used by abuse-prevention controls. | 365 days |
ib1_pid and ib1_identity_db | Persistent browser identifier stored in local storage and IndexedDB for account-security controls. | Until browser data is cleared |
ib1_fp_cache | Caches a hashed browser and device fingerprint so it does not need to be recalculated on every protected action. | 7 days |
ib1_cookie_preferences | Records whether optional advertising measurement was accepted or rejected. | Until browser data is cleared or the choice is changed |
2. Optional advertising measurement
If you select “Allow advertising,” Ironbrew1 loads Google Ads to measure whether advertising led to a completed purchase. Google may then set or access advertising identifiers such as _gcl_* and related storage. Ironbrew1 does not load the Google Ads tag before this choice.
If you select “Required only,” Google Ads is not loaded by Ironbrew1. Refusing optional storage does not block account registration, obfuscation, subscriptions, or API access.
3. Change or withdraw your choice
You can reopen the preference panel at any time. Withdrawing consent stops future optional advertising measurement. You can also clear site data in your browser to remove stored identifiers; clearing required storage may sign you out or trigger account-security checks.
4. Third-party services
Cloudflare Turnstile is loaded on registration, sign-in, and password-recovery pages for security. Stripe and PayPal are loaded or opened when you choose their payment methods. Discord is contacted when you choose Discord login, account linking, or support. These providers may use storage necessary to deliver the feature you requested and apply their own privacy notices.
More information about personal-data processing is available in the Privacy Policy.
